Cricket Land Jsc is a start-up built upon the knowledge of sustainable development studied by a Vietnamese NGO - the Center for Creativity and Sustainability Study and Consultancy - CCS. Founded in 2016 as a result of a partnership between CCS, i-Nature, and ASiCo, the company was on a mission to (1) bring organic, healthy foods to every local household, (2) help more farmers apply eco-friendly practices in farming, (3) and promote sustainable lifestyles to the mass.

The task was to create a branding suite that would enable Cricket Land to express its wholesome and friendly yet curious and adventurous nature to the market.

Disclaimer: Initially, I worked on this project as a junior brand strategist but simultaneously picked up a large portion of design tasks as one of the very few people in the company who could use designing tools and software. Our freelance designer at that time - Chi, was the one who created the logo and I worked with her to write, edit, and design our company's stationery. To revamp this project for my own art portfolio, I keep the original version of her logo but redesign the company profile to better reflect my skills in 2022. 

Logo Design

Portraying the brand through the symbol of a Cricket, depicted as brave, adventurous, but also hard-working in Adventures of a Cricket (or Dế Mèn Phiêu Lưu Ký) by Tô Hoài one of the most iconic and beloved short stories in Vietnam, especially among Millennials.
